S.L.J Flight task

Kia Ora bloggers,

Today, for my class and I's first Summer Learning Journey task, we made paper planes. But not just the one pointy one. We also made round.

We were given 3 pieces of paper after watching the video with Nanogirl.
She showed us the three ways of making the rockets with each piece of paper.

First, A paper plane.
Second, A Ring Glider.
Third, Hoop Plane.

We needed: Three pieces of paper, pencil, scissors and a ruler.

The second one was probably the most hard. Rolling the tube part was pretty tricky, I kept mucking up. In the end I finally made it, after the rest making the other two.

The other two were easy. Understanding was a bit hard, but after that, everything went nice and smooth. The paper rockets flew well and it was fun to make.
I personally like the Ring Glider the most.

I cant wait to experiment with more of them!

Puzzle Party

Kia Ora Bloggers,

Today, my class and I did another art activity. There were different types to choose from. Puzzle, crossword, who came first and more.

The Puzzle one I did was really fun. I finished only about 5. It was an art piece that got split into puzzle pieces and I had to put it back together again.

I also did the "Who Came First?". I was given two photos and a specific amount of time. In that time I had to guess what art piece was made first, the faster I guessed right, the more points I got. My high-score was about 540.

I personally like the Puzzle one more, because its more fun and interesting. When I click on the photos, they give me a tiny bit of info about them.

All the art I saw were very unique and fascinating

Im going to be doing these Art Activities heaps and may also share them along the way.

Have a great day!

Visual crossword

Hiya Bloggers

Today my class and I, did a Visual Crossword task. It was kinda like an art puzzle.

We were given a few options of Art choices and had to put them in the right place depending on the artist, name of the art piece, where it was set, etc.

I only made it up to level 8, but it was still very fun and tricky. It was a bit of a challenge because I don't know much about art.

I had tons of fun and thinking doing this task.
