Today me and my class made clay pots. We did a pinch pot. It was very fun.
The clay got stiff a lot so I had to wet it a bit. I moulded it in my hand for a long time, it was so satisfying. My favourite part was moulding it into a pot. We were very lucky we got the clay from a teacher.

On Wednesday 9th December we and some classmates made candles. Since we didn't come on Tuesday and that when the whole class made their own, we made some the next day. The people who made it with me are: Jaymalyn, Shamake and Makeleta.
Of course, my teacher also helped out a lot. First she boiled the water, then but the candles wax into a pot, not the same pot the hot water was in though. She then put the pot with the wax in it in the other pot with the hot water in.
(It may seem confusing but cant find a better way to put it :3)
Then we could mix, we all had turns mixing until it looked like oil. While some others were steering, Jaymalyn and Shamake were putting the candle string inside the small containers. I also picked of lavender pieces and picked of the petal to put in the candles.
My teacher also pout some lavender scent in the melted wax to its smelt nice. After that we put in the wax. We all took turns in order, we had to go slow so we didn't spill it. We left it for a while and when it was nearly all dries up, we put pieces of lavender petals on top.

Today me and my class had mufti and...A DISCO. Yup a disco, a class disco actually. It was so fun but let me start from the beginning.
When I walked in my class after morning tea, I saw food on a table. I knew it was for the disco because my teacher Mrs Odean told my class and me. When lunch finally started my class was so excited. I could tell by their squeals and in a hurry to pack up. My friends Keti was also as excited as I was. We closed all the blinds and waited for my teacher. She came and told us to sit on the mat.
We sat and watched her put on music then colourful lights on the screen. We got up and started dancing, at first I was full of energy but it went down quickly. I was tired and sat down, my friends sat with me. As soon as the music beat dropped I got up and started dancing again. My friends laughed and they joined.
I was going crazy and kept falling down. When the bell rang we got to eat. There was, popcorn, sushi, fruit, thins and few more things. It was super fun and loud. My class was dancing, yelling and singing.
When the bell rang, it was time to open out secret Santa gift. I got a really cute pen with a pink pom pom at the top with antlers and a heart for a nose. It was so adorable.
I cant wait to have another disco day. <3 <3

Today i made rainbow cookies with my little sibling. It was so fun and they were so yummy. I put the batter in the fridge after I mixed it up. Then rolled them into balls with the help if my little sister. After That I put on the M&Ms. When they were don't they looked great and smelled delicious. Lucky me the M&Ms came in the box with it so since we had a lot we put so much on :3

Today my class made similes on a google doc. We had to describe something to something else using the words "as" or "like" We made our own examples.
It was very fun thinking about what to write. I also added some pictures, I enjoyed making the google drawing and adding the pictures that match the similes. Heres mine, hope you like it.

I have made a very long story. I haven't yet finished but I promise ill finish it sometime soon. I wrote this fir fun and like it. Hopefully you guys like it too. Enjoy.
Chapter-1-The meet of the unibuddies.
Lila loved journeys, adventures and mysteries.
So did her two best friends. Emily and Dakota.
Lila and her two friends were nine years old. They had been friends since kindergarten. Dakota was tall for her age, she had long, black shiny hair, hazel eyes and suntanned skin.
Emily was a shy girl, she had shoulder length blonde hair, which she often tied up in ponytails, her huge green eyes stood out against her pale skin.
Lila was outgoing, she had short chestnut brown hair, blue eyes and freckled skin.
One night as Lila laid in bed, she noticed a shadow on the wall that appeared to be coming from her window.
It formed the shape of a horse with a spiral shaped horn between its ears. Lila was curious, so she crept over to the window and secretly peered out....
”Oh my, gosh!” Lila almost stumbled backwards, as the creature leaped toward her! As it came towards the light she could just make out it was a unicorn. It’s enormous black eyes staring straight into her soul. The unicorn had smooth white fur that gleamed in the light. Its beautiful billowing fluffy pink mane and tail was a soft pink and reminded her of candy floss. Yum!
She leapt back just in time as the creature leapt over the window sill onto the soft carpeted floor.
“Hello, I'm Unity the unicorn.” “I came here to pick you up.” The unicorn spoke in a rather sweet young voice. Lila was amazed.’ she could hardly believe what was happening... was she just imagining everything or just dreaming. Suddenly, Unity said. “Climb onto my back.” Hurry! Queen Aria is waiting for you.”
Lila climbed on Unity’s back without hesitating. Unity leaped outside. “Hold on tightly to my mane.” Unity fluttered her long lashes and then suddenly her wings magically appeared and spread out from her back. They were magnificent. Unity began to fly higher and higher, into the star speckled night sky.
“In case you were wondering, I have seven magical powers!” Unity shouted as the wind tried to drown out her voice. They soared through the air. Lila felt the cold breeze in her face. I'm bored
Several minutes later the town was nowhere in sight. Then all of a sudden Lila realized they were standing in front of an enormous castle. It looked like it had been abandoned for thousands of years.
“Might I ask what your powers are?” Lila asked in a calm voice. “Well I can only tell you five because the other two are a secret!” I can make things float, I can freeze people, I can transform people into anything, I can shoot electricity bolts using my horn and last but not least I can bring the dead back to life.” Unity walked on towards the castle.
Once they walked in Lila froze. It was beautiful. There was a shiny white perfect water fountain with a unicorn at the top shooting glazing water out of its mouth.
The ceilings were covered in white with plaid and in the middle of the big room was a huge shiny chandelier. Next thing she knew three more odd looking unicorns came in with humans on their backs. Emily, Dakota. “What are you guys doing here?” as Lila walked over to the first pink and black unicorn with magenta and purple eyes shaded together and with Dakota on his back?
Emily and Dakota hopped off the unicorn's backs. That chatted about how scary and exciting it was. Then after the three unicorns lined up in front of the three kids.
Dakotas one in front of her. Lilas one in front of her and Emily hers was blue with golden hair and golden eyes.
The unicorns put their horns up and mumbled some words.
Then they were floating and a big white light blew up the whole castle up with sparkles when they opened their eyes they were in the most beautiful dresses. Dakotas dress was long black and had a small slit on both sides with sparkles and a dark purple and small purple wings and a flower crown. Emily had a bright pink cold-shoulder dress with a purple fluffy belt with a halo on her head and pink wings, and lila had a short black dress with red flowers and a black bow around her waist with a crown with long black sticks on it and big wings with hearts on them.
“Hi, I’m Michelle.” Dakotas unicorn said as he walked up to her.
“And i'm Luna” Emily's unicorn said after Michelle
“And of course i'm Unity, Us three unicorn have the same powers but i have two more powerful ones.”
“We have to defeat an evil unicorn named Zorglo.” Michelle stepped up and said.
“When he was only a beginner he got mad he didn't have good powers, so he got a special dust made himself powerful and took advantage of the powers so he rules the half of this world.'' Queen Aria said.
“We need you guys to stop him.” Aria finished her sentence
“Why us though your majesty.” Lila said in a shocked voice.
“Because you are the chosen ones” Queen Antia disappeared in thin air
Lila thought well her friends were talking and patting their unicorns.
Unity came up to Lila and Lila gave her soft furl a few strokes. Her fur looked hard but it was nice and soft.
“So we're gonna start tomorrow theres really comfortable bed come with me.” Unity led Lila to an unforgettable room.
It was purple and shiny with wall to wall, soft fluffy white carpet and three lovely beds. They were pink with a curtain over them. They had two thick and small blue blankets and had comfy baby pink pillows.
“I’m.Gonna.Die!” Emily squealed with excitement. It was unbelievable. The rest of the night all the friends played with their unibuddies, they had so much fun. Then after a while when they ran out of energy there beautiful dresses turned into comfy pj’s. They all had matching ones. Blue nighties with glittery hearts all over.

Yesterday we went to the Museum. I had so much fun. I was in the same group as my best friend Keti.
We went everywhere together. We went into the volcano room twice. The second time was crazy because kids were so so loud, everyone was screaming and so was I. It was also very funny. I had such a great time.

The thing in the woods
The clock was ticking, 5:23 pm. Ayana was playing with her brother next to the light woods. Her blonde hair was flying in the wind. Her brown eyes were bright and happy. She was wearing a white long dress with multiple coloured flowers on it.
Her brother Jack, his brown hair flowing in the wind. He had blue eyes that stood out. He was wearing a black vest over a dinosaur shirt and shorts. He was mute so used sign language to talk.
“Tag your it, hahaha” Ayana laughed, tagging her brother. He ran after her smiling along.
Little did they know, they were running straight to the forest their mother warned them about.
“Remember, do not go into the forest! Something lies in there that's not from this world.” Their mother was quite serious. She gave Ayana a pocket knife in case something attacked her. Since she has self defense she knew how to use it.
They were running along the path of the forest. The more they ran, the more darker their surroundings got. Until they finally noticed.
The dark and eerie forest was the only thing they could see.
Ayana stopped, her smile turned upside down, her brother stood next to her looking up at what she was looking at.
Standing there. Sleeping was a humongous beast. His body covered in black horrible fur, sharp spikes running up his spine.
Red goo dripped from his mouth. He had dirty nails, rotting from the inside. Absolutely disgusting.
Ayana and Jack were frozen in place. Ayana whispered, breaking the silence. “W-what's t-that.” She found it hard to breathe.
They were horrified, they took a few steps back until Jack stood on a twig. SNAP!. The monster opened his emerald gloomy eyes. He awoke. He growled ferociously. The two siblings ran as fast as they could away. The monster pounding down trees, on their tails.
They ran and ran, but never found the open world. They quickly hid behind trees as the monster searched for them. “What are we going to do” Jack signed,” I don't know” Ayana mouthed. Sweat dripped down her face, and down her neck.
They soon saw that the monster was removed from their sight. No where. They checked at least 5 times before running through the forest again. Leaves crushing, wind blowing. They felt like they were out there for hours, and eternity even. Then a light appeared. A bright one. They saw police officers and their mother, wrapped in a blanket crying.
They ran as fast as they could. It was far away but Ayana could see them. Until the monster jumped in front of them, it growled making Ayana and Jack fall down. It started slowly walking toward them.
Ayana noticed a log with a rope. She remembered the knife her mother gave her. Ayana stood her ground and ran up the log as quick as the wind. The monster tried to jump at her but before it could she grabbed the knife out of her pocket swang on the rope and onto the monster. Jack stood up.
Ayana was struggling to hold on to the monster's spikes. She accidentally cut her hand, but didn't feel the pain. She pulled out her knife and stabbed it in the creature's eye, it bellowed in pain. It fell to the ground and Ayana fell off. Jack helped her up. “I guess it's pretty sensitive” Ayana says out of breath. They ran as fast as they could to their mother and out of the forest.
Their mother recognized her children as they sprinted away from the forest. She burst out in tears. “Oh my god, are you guys okay, what happened, did you get hurt” Their mother was still in tears. Ayana hugged her mother and her brother Jack.
After that the police inspected the forest finding the monster still breathing and putting it in a base, safe, locked up. They were all happy once again. Living their lives never going back into the woods again. All that was left of the monster was...eggs, half cracked.
Kia ora bloggers. On Tuesday my class made a vegetable drawing and we had to write down what it was good for, whats in it and the colour. My choice was a capsicum because they're yummy. I drew it myself and added a shine to it. Hope you like it.

There is this app called Epic. Its a school app where you can read book, and get to a higher level.
On epic Ive been reading these books called, "Odd jobs." By: Brigitte Henry Cooper And illustrated by: Elena Napoil. It is this story about this young girl whos grandmother always gives her some weird jobs. My best friend Keti showed me them and told me about them. Ive already read all of them. They are really fun and some are bit scary.
If you have Epic, you could try read them to. I enjoy those type of books.

Hey Bloggers.
Hope you all had a wonderful holiday. I have had an amazing one. In the first week, one of my best friends came over for the night. With her mum and brother.
We made yummy milkshakes and a brownie. They were delicious. Since they came on Wednesday, they left on Saturday.
Then in the second week, I went to the park with my mother and baby sibling. Olive and Finn. We were there for about half an hour, and we got to have ice creams while playing.
Today we made a chocolate cake, it was so yummy. This was the best holiday iv'e had so far, cant wait for the next one. But then again, im exited to see my best friends at school again.
Reflection: Film Festival
How did you feel about the film making process and why?
I really enjoyed it because it was really fun making a plan with some of my friends(they were in my group). I loved planning and especially filming. The editing was really fun, adding music.
What did you enjoy?
II enjoyed editing in music and background because it was really fun, also adding effects. Also about audio sound. Adding them.
I learn about how to add the music and not the video.
What did you learn?
I learnt how to get a pretty background from an ipad.
I also learn about air-dropping.
What was challenging?
I found it quite challenging, working with different people that i'm not used to. I also found it challenging editing and trying to make it good.
If you could go back in time to the beginning of the term, what would you do differently?
I would change the script up a little bit. Add some things and music. Tell my group to not change ANYTHING.
What advice would you give to someone creating a film next year?
I would say, don't fight with anyone while doing it. If you're going to do a voice over, make sure it's playing along with the lip movement.
Also to try your best and get things ready before you plan it, because if you cant it was a waste of time planning that bit.

Today we made a Vegetarian pasta from skids. Called Carbonard.
It was really fun, and also yum.
I learnt about what to do and more about vegetables. I enjoyed it so much.
The ingredients were all yum by them selves. The best part is we got to take a bag home with all the ingredients in them. From nestle. They are great because they gave us the free bags.
I cant wait to cook it with my whanau.
Im super exited to cook it.
The ingredients:
Broccoli.
Carrots.
Milk.
A pinch of salt and pepper.
Garlic.
Pasta.
I really liked making it and cant wait to make it again.

Today we made stress balls out of balloons and rice.
It was really fun and i really like squeezing the stress ball.
Here are the steps to make one, because maybe you would like to make one.
1. Get 3 balloons
2. Blow 1 balloon up.
3. Get a bottle or a jar that's full of rice.
4. Pour the rice into the balloon.
5. Get another balloon and put it the other way around on the balloon full of rice so that the opening is facing the end, then do it again with the last balloon
6. Boom got yourself a stress ball.

Today, we did some breathing and sharing emotions. It was kinda hard for me because i don't really like sharing my feelings. The meditating was relaxing and made me tired. Though, i felt better after sharing them. It felt nice for a few people to listen. Other peoples feelings were like mine. But they are private so i cant share on this. We but our left hand of our stomach, then closed our eyes, after we breathed in for three seconds, after that we breathed out slowly.
Sharing my feeling made me feel better. If you do that it might make you feel better to. Remember its okay to cry. Let it out if you want. Have an awesome holiday and week.

I am looking forward to my Grandpa's birthday today because I get to give him my card, a present and we get to have great times with him, and also have a good lunch and cake. I am feeling really happy because my grandparents are coming to my house today since it's my grandpa's birthday. I was feeling very excited yesterday because my grandpa's birthday is special, he's turning 55 and the times with him never get old.

Hey bloggers, there has been a three day lockdown because of the coronavirus. Its gonna be online schooling for another two weeks. Stay safe and stay home(unless you need to go out and get food). Make sure you wash your hands and sanitise.
Hope your all doing well. Lockdown is only for another 14 days. Have a good time and be careful
Morning came, the sun shone brightly on the clear blue water. It was a beautiful day.
Sandy the crab awoke. Sandy was a popular crab. She has saved a lot of lives, ever since she's been well known.
She got out of her shell, shined her back and legs and went off to her day. “Morning Sandy.” said Charlie, one of her neighbors.
“Morning~”She joyfully said back.
As she went to work, crabs greeted her with a hello.
As she arrived at work she plopped a bag next to a chair that sat in the waiting room. It was for her coworker. She headed to her office and got to work.
At Sandys work she studies the beach.
She makes sure the water is nice and fresh, the sand is warm and soft, the crabs are safe and makes sure the beach is rubbish free.
“Making the beach healthy and beautiful is my job.” “It's also to make sure the crabs are safe and happy.” Sandy exclaimed during an interview. Sandy really loves her job and truly wants the crabs on the beach to be happy.
She works all day solving problems(that don't really happen because she does an awesome job)and helps the crabs. Everything in her life was perfect, everyone got along.
Until the day when the beach mice came.
These awful albino rats terrorised some of the crabs. They took over some caves and homes. They were tougher then the crabs so they couldn't stop them.
Im not done just yet but happy with what i got. Hope you enjoy. Making part 2 soon
